The International Volunteer Day on the 5th of December is approaching again!
Last year with the #VolunteeringMadeMe campaign the ICYE brought forward the impact of international volunteering. This year we would like to invite you all to join a new campaign of ICYE network to celebrate international volunteering!
Through international volunteering one can experience and gain many positive things: intercultural understanding, personal growth, new friendships... The campaign is all about bringing forward and celebrating these things. The campaign period is from the 5th to the 10th of December, 2018.
Please see an example below.
1. Add to your Facebook/Instagram profile photo on the 5th of December the campaign frame. You can find it with the name "ICYE International Volunteer Day".
2. Then, pick a word that describes a positive thing you have experienced or gained through volunteering. Next to your profile photo, write this word and a short explanation on it.
3. Remember to add hashtags #changethroughvolunteering and #icye in your text!
4. Keep the campaign frame in your profile photo from the 5th of December until the 10th of December.
